To lead the evolution of our organizational structure, Federico Morales joined our team.

Morales is a telecommunications engineer and recently completed his MBA at IEEM. During his long career in the technology area, he has worked in technology integrators both in Uruguay and Latin America, as well as leading high-performance technical and commercial teams. 

As for his role in Isbel, he will assume the leadership of the pre and post-sales teams in all territories (Uruguay, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico). He will also actively participate in the definition and execution of the commercial strategy. 

What does this change in your career mean and how are you handling it? 

This change in my career represents an exciting new phase full of challenges and opportunities. I approach it with a positive and proactive attitude. I am committed to making the most of this opportunity to learn and grow professionally.  

I am excited about the prospect of applying my 19 years of multinational corporate skills and experience to business management, thus contributing to Isbel's development, international expansion and operational efficiency. 

What does the position entail and what are your plans for the medium term? 

As Isbel's Business Manager, my role involves leading the Engineering team to achieve sales targets and ensure the successful delivery of Isbel's solutions. 

In the medium term, my focus will be on gaining a deep understanding of the company's internal and external processes. I will work closely with the team to identify areas for improvement, optimize operations and strengthen our position in today's competitive market. In addition, I will lead initiatives that drive innovation and adaptability, which will enable Isbel to successfully overcome the changing challenges of the Latin American business environment. 

My plan also includes the development of strategies to enhance the efficiency of the Engineering team, improving internal collaboration and ensuring that we are aligned with the company's objectives. Through these actions, I will seek to contribute significantly to Isbel's international expansion. 

How do you define the company's current situation? 

The company is experiencing an exceptional moment. I joined a solid organization that has consolidated its position in Uruguay and is growing and expanding in Latin America. The recent acquisition of the Puerto Rico headquarters poses an exciting challenge to strengthen our presence in the Caribbean. 

This whole process is taking place in a context in which the world of information technology has been moving towards as-a-service offerings. Isbel has joined this transformation, working closely with organizations to simplify everyday life. Together, we are co-creating a digital future that promises a significant leap in people's quality of life through the strategic use of technology. We are committed to leading this change and making a tangible contribution to the progress and well-being of society. 

What are the main milestones in your career? 

In my career, I highlight two points in my professional development. First, I had the privilege of creating and implementing from scratch a customer success practice in a multinational company. This achievement involved collaborating with a team distributed in 6 countries in Latin America, which in turn worked with clients in 11 countries. This experience not only consolidated my leadership skills, but also contributed to the success of the company by establishing and strengthening strong customer relationships. 

Another relevant milestone was my participation in the design, creation and implementation of a videoconferencing solution in educational institutions nationwide in Uruguay. This initiative demonstrated my ability to address complex technical challenges and had a direct impact on the improvement of educational processes at the national level.  

These achievements reflect my commitment to innovation and ability to lead initiatives that have a positive impact on both the business and the community.
