Great Place to Work 2021(GPTW) recognised Isbel as one of the top 10 best places to work in Uruguay for companies with up to 150 people.
Isbel ranked ninth in a list of prestigious local and international companies.
"This recognition gives us great comfort and is a reflection of the work of several years promoting a culture of horizontal communication, teamwork and internal growth opportunities for our employees," said Jessica Araújo, Chief Human Resources Officer of Quantik (group of companies of which Isbel is part).
"This year we participated in this evaluation, which is so internationally recognised, to take a fresh look at the work we have been doing. It was a great experience that also gave us the opportunity to evaluate ourselves in the context of the market and to learn lessons to make Isbel a better place to work every day," he added.
The methodology for choosing the best
To compile the ranking, GPTW uses opinion surveys in which it consults the employees of each organisation.
The surveys consist of 60 standardised questions. They analyse the work experience in the company taking into account the characteristics of each location, such as size, workforce composition and industry.
In 2021, the methodology was adapted by GPTW to take into account the context of the pandemic, and companies' efforts to care for people and their operations in particular were measured.
Our results
According to the data provided by GPTW 84% of respondents expressed that Isbel is a great place to work .
Some of the aspects highlighted by our teams were:
- Good treatment of people regardless of hierarchy, gender or skin colour.
- The strong sense of team spirit and horizontal communication that exists throughout the organisation.
- The flexibility of the company to accommodate cases where people need to be absent from work for personal reasons (in all cases, with measurements above 90%).
