The recognition was for the implementation of the first project of its green solution in Uruguay: the H&M shop in Nuevocentro Shopping.
What is Furukawa's green solution?
In this solution, the plastic components are made from sugar cane ethanol derivatives instead of petroleum derivatives. This decision was made in response to H&M's Swedish brand standards, which required products to be PVC-free.
