At the Palacio de la Luz, UTE presented a key milestone: virtually full smart-meter coverage across the entire country, reaching more than 1,700,000 households.

This achievement marks a paradigm shift in energy management, enabling a digitalized network with access to real-time information and an increasingly efficient operation.

The impact is already tangible:

• Reconnections reduced from 9 hours to 15 minutes
• A 97.2% reduction in estimated consumption readings
• 80% of operations performed remotely
• Fewer complaints and losses
